Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The Vidar Group LLC ("The Vidar Group", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with VOS, our operations platform (the "Service"), and this website (the "Site"). If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement controls where it differs from this policy.
1. Two kinds of information
Customer Data is the information our customers and their users put into the Service, such as inventory, orders, suppliers, production plans, system and monitoring data, and messages. We process Customer Data on behalf of the customer, under the customer's instructions and our agreement with them. The customer controls it.
Account and Site Information is information about the people who use the Service or visit the Site, which we handle as described below.
2. Information we collect
When you visit the Site
- Basic technical information sent by your browser, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which our hosting provider records in standard server logs.
- The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell or share information for targeted advertising.
When you request a demo
- The details you choose to give us, such as your name, email, company and what you would like to see. If you book through a scheduling tool such as Calendly, that provider also processes your information under its own privacy policy.
When you use the Service
- Account information, such as name, work email, role and organization.
- Customer Data that you or your organization add to the Service.
- Usage and device information, such as log data, actions taken, timestamps, and diagnostic data that helps us keep the Service secure and working.
- Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details such as billing contact, plan and payment status. We do not store full card numbers.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain and support the Service.
- To run the features you use, including AI agents that analyze and act on Customer Data at your direction.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse and investigate incidents.
- To bill for the Service and manage accounts.
- To respond to inquiries and schedule demos.
- To improve the Service, using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
- To comply with law and enforce our agreements.
4. AI features
VOS includes AI agents that read and act on Customer Data to do work you ask for, such as planning production or drafting purchase orders. To power these features we send the relevant data to AI model providers acting as our service providers. We use providers whose commercial terms do not allow them to use that data to train their models. We do not use Customer Data to train AI models for other customers. Agent actions that matter are designed to be reviewable, and you remain responsible for approving the actions your organization takes.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting, databases, email delivery, payment processing and AI model providers, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- With your organization, which controls the accounts and Customer Data in its workspace.
- With integrations and third parties you choose to connect to the Service.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our customers, users or us.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, separation of each organization's data, access controls, and encryption of stored credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected customers of a security incident as required by law and our agreements.
7. Retention
We keep Customer Data for as long as the customer's account is active and as described in our agreement with them, then delete or return it. We keep other information as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing. If your information is part of Customer Data, please contact your organization, which controls it; we will help them respond. Otherwise, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and process information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
10. Children
The Service is built for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify customers directly.
